I had exactly the same experience as the other person reporting. When I went to purchase a camcorder from camera professionals after being directed there by lowprice digital. I was forced after placing an Internet order to call them the next day. It was under the guise of a security issue. But in reality it was a come on to try selling over priced accessories. I refused and was told the camcorder alone would arrive in 7-10 days. I checked on day 10 and all of a sudden the camcorder was on backorder. But of course I could cancel the order if I wished. I then called Broadway Photo. I indicated my bad experience with Camera Professionals. And said I wasn't interested in any add ons just the camcorder. All of a sudden I was being asked if I wanted the US warranty. Which increased the cost from $129 to $229. When I inquired what the different warranties provided. All I got was double talk. This a premier bait and switch tactic. As consumers we need protection from this fraud. I agree with the first person. These all may be sister companies using the same fraudulent methods. Stay Away!
