These companies send catalogs with items for sale that appear to be a good value. However, they do not ship items in one package and often the shipping costs will be almost as much as the item! Too often items are on "backorder" for several months at a time so do not be in a hurry for anything you purchase.
I purchased Christmas items on October 14 - it is now December 11 and I am still missing almost half of the items I ordered. Their website claims my items will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. One gift is needed for a party this weekend - I don't think so since it hasn't shipped and it takes over 10 days for items to arrive in the mail.
A roll of $4.95 wrapping paper was shipped seperately for a shipping cost of $3.83. I could have bought 4 rolls of paper at a local store for that price!
Do not try to contact them via phone - they do not answer or put you on hold forever. I have sent e-mails regarding the order and this time of the year they do not even respond to them.
Beware - the items look cheap (and often are cheaply made) but will cost you much more than you could buy them for in the store where you actually can see what you are getting and get it right away!
Their service has gotten worse in the past two years. I have been buying for over 5 years and I will not be buying again after this. It is not worth the aggravation and pain to the wallet.

After contacting the company via e-mail 5 times, they will not acknowledge e-mails to cancel all remaining backordered items that were on backorder for over 10 weeks. They were Christmas gifts and I no longer want them. I have tried to call them, FORGET IT!! I want my account closed and will never do business with LTD Commodities OR ABC Distributing. Their prices are not a value with the shipping and handling rip-off scam and most of what they sell is chintzy.
Now, I have to reject the items, hope they don't pull a scam saying that I owe them for the order after rejecting it - (I'm certainly not going to pay shipping charges for items I asked to be cancelled 5 times) and probably fill up the landfills for the next 5 years with their catalogs that I won't even look at.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THESE COMPANIES - they deserve to go out of business with their horrible service.
