Complaint Review: Lucas Landscaping Inc

We signed a contract with Salvador Fuertes (Lucas

Landscaping Inc, 331-425-9288) for patio work after a recommendation from someone. However, after one and half month, and making numerous calls and messages, they have not started the work, well past the completion date on contract. A permit with Naperville city was filed by Salvodor, but incomplete. We requested the person to talk with us, come visit, and take any documents they need for permit, but to no avail. We received only excuses from them.

We should have done more thorough check and simply not relied on word of mouth. We don't think the company is legitimate either after this. Our money is stuck, and we are taking legal action with attorney general and small claims court, but we feel our money is gone. We requested refund from them, but don't think we are getting it.
