Complaint Review: Lucid Industries buy-adult-toys.com

About 5 weeks ago, I placed an order with Lucid Industries. This company does business online as buy-adult-toys.com. I sent them a money order with my order form and heard nothing from them for 2 weeks. After sending them 3 e-mails someone named Jessie responded saying that they've received my order and it would ship by the end of that week which was June 3rd.

That day has come and gone. I wrote them again, but this time I did not get a response. It wasn't until I complained to their host that they responded. This time Jessie said that my items are on back order and wanted to know if I could wait longer on them.

Normally I wouldn't do business with a company that has no contact information like a phone number, but they had an e-mail address and street address so I figured that I would go ahead. I've done business with companies that had less information and have had no problems.

So, now after 2 more weeks go by and still no word on my order, I wrote to them again. This time someone named Kari writes back saying that they've never heard of me and that I've placed no order because I don't have an order number.

Trust me, avoid buy-adult-toys.com like the plague. Their intent is to get as much money as they can before some agency has the moxie to shut them down. My guess is that they rely on personal embarrassment in that people won't pursue them legally.
