I ordered Lucinda Bassett's program to cure stress and anxiety only to have my stress and anxiety increased by her companies misleading promises. I called to return the product within the time allotted and despite my desire to return the product I was talked into 15 days longer to review the product. 12 days later I called the company again for a return authorization # but could not get through "due to heavy call Volume". Their recording suggested calling back at another time. 14 days later I called with the same outcome.

On the 15th day I was on hold from 4:30 Eastern Time and at 4:55 EST I was told by a recording that the Center was closed and I would need to call again between their regular business hours. Due to that day being a weekend I was not able to call them again until today 17 days later. I did get through after a very long wait and was told I had been charged for the product and would no longer be able to return the program despite my prior call and my repeated attempts.

Now I have a product that I don't want, don't like and don't need. I am being charged for this because they were unable to follow through as promised. I have been used by an organization which promises to help with Stress and Anxiety?

I am contacting my State's Hot Line on Fraud and will NOT stop until this company is held responsible for their part in misleading me and taking advantage of me. In addition I received vitamins from another of Lucinda's companies which I had declined and now have to deal with them and charges to my credit card. Lucinda Bassett is a fake and her company is NOT there for you, they are there to simply make money. If you have the same or similar concerns please file a complaint as well.

I have called every day since I was denied a return authorization number from The Midwest Center. I got the extension number to the supervisor and left her a message with numbers to reach me at.

I informed her that since her company is closed on Sat & Sun they can NOT count every day of the week when using time constraint. They are required by federal law to use business days. I also informed her that I was told during a recorded contractual conversation when ordering that I would receive a personal email from Lucinda Bassett within a weeks time. I never received any email from her. This means that they did not deliver as promised in their contract and and thus the contract becomes null in Void.

I was given an RA # and I thanked her for her time. The woman's name is Dawn. Her # is 1-800-589-7755 ext 225.

I hope this is helpful to anyone else having difficulty with Lucinda Bassett's organization The Midwest Center. For an organization that boasts a commitment to helping people over come stress, anxiety and depression they sure don't make it easy when it comes to your wallet.
