Lucky Hair Co. charged me 600 bucks for a the wrong dye job and half of a hair cut and kept me there for 7 hours Canton Michigan

I usually dye my hair myself but thought i would treat myself to a professional job at a high end salon since im 6 months pregnant wanted to be pampered. I set up an appt. to get my hair dyed blonde and brought in pictures of the color i wanted. The girl instead dyed it a mucky brown with silver highlights. the color was totally uneven with orange streaks in the back and grey streaks in the front. it took her 3 hours to do this. i was horrified and told her to redo it and again showed her the pictures of what i wanted. i sat there for anohter 4 hours and it looked exactly the same!!!! she said my hair wouldnt accept the color. they offered me nothing to eat or drink knowing i am 6 months pregnant. then i asked for a trim and she chopped 3 inches off my hair and didnt even touch my bangs!!!! then tried to charge me 600 bucks. i refused and asked for the owners. the owners blamed it all on me saying i shouldnt have expected my hair to turn out blonde since i came in with red hair. ummmm.....hello? if she couldnt do it then why didnt she say that to me in the first place instead of turning my hair 3 different colors with tons of damage and only a partial haircut when i wanted a trim? i had pictures of what i wanted and tried to reason with the owners that i didnt receive the services that i asked for plus was kept there for a ridiculous amount of time. i couldve acheived better color at home. they yelled at me and said they would call the cops if i didnt leave. it was a nightmare and couldnt believe how unprofessional they were to a pregnant woman.

Receipt of the alleged complaint bearing Report: #319993 is acknowledged. Please be assured that our company considers these matters seriously and has conducted a thorough investigation into this matter. While it is unfortunate that the complainant feels she was mistreated, our investigation details that such complaint is baseless and without merit.


Specifically, our investigation reveals that this customer purchased a hair color correction. Prior to this appointment, the customer was advised of the risks associated with such services, (the color variations, etc.), and the time involved. After such information was provided, the customer elected to undergo the color correction process. Upon conclusion of the service, the customer paid the bill in the exact sum of $375 in cash, tipped the stylist the exact sum of $50 on credit card and thanked all involved for the services rendered with the exact quote of " I love my hair" to myself the owner and only person who runs the front desk. Several days subsequent, the customer returned to the salon with her boyfriend and he aggressively demanded a refund claiming the price was excessive and the color was incorrect, the client was then notified that in prior conversations on myspace that this would be a two or more step process with several visits to remove the red color and make her blonde. We tried to resolve the the situation by offering to do the second process free of charge and this too was unacceptable to the customer. When a refund was refused, the boyfriend became increasingly belligerent and claimed the services were of poor quality entitling the customer to a refund. The aggressive nature of such individual necessitated the threat of police intervention to make him depart the premises.


Again, while it is unfortunate that the complainant has submitted the above referenced claim, there is no basis in fact for such complaint.

I will be posting links for the myspace conversations between the customer and the stylist, along with other web links containing fraudulent information about our salon posted by this customer. Also our videos with audio surveillance records have been passed to our lawyer for review along with all original receipts and records collected in our investigation.
