I received a letter from Ludwig & Shefelman Law Group, stating I was part of a class action law suit that occured 36 months ago and that I may have been a victim of fraud.  The  letter also states that due to an out of court agreement it was prohibited to disclose the name of the corporation and that I was entitled to a beneficiary claim for 132,000.00 dollars.  Also, I should not contact any third parties or public inquiry.  I was requested to call the office before cashing the check to fulfill all obligations and arrange for delivery.  Enclosed was a check for 1,975.00 dollars. Failure to respond within 5 days may result in termination of my settlement and cancellation of the check.

Now, all this seemed a little strange to me since, I have received letters before from legitimate law offices for participation in civil action suits.  These letters also told me who the class action was against.  Since I belive that this is the way our legal system works I felt something was wrong.  I begain to check out this law firm on the internet and came up with no listing, then checked the address, that's when this ripoff site poped up.  After reading only one report I knew this was a rip off and made no contact with Mr. David H. White or the fradulant law firm.  Thank goodness for modern technology.  I just wonder though if people and organizations like this one are aware of actions by this person why isn't he in Jail?  I hope other people will see this scam for what it is and not be suckered in.  Thanks to this site and the other reports I didn't fall for what could've been a costly mistake.
