You all are not alone. I was told I could cancel my subscription AT ANY TIME. Finally, I did because the magazines I requested were not the ones I recieved. And they wouldn't send me a list to choose different ones. If they are still calling, use a boat horn. They will stop calling! If not tell them you are going to file a harrassment suit, and all the rest of us can be your witnesses.

I got a call from this company in regards to a magazine subscription, they claim I agreed to. I told then I have no idea what the are talking about as I have never agreed to purchase magazines. She claimed also to having me on a recording agreeing to it. I demanded that she play the tape, she said "if I can prove it will you pay it." Of course, I agreed I knew they never had me on a recording. So I waited on hold for 5 minutes wait to hear this "recording." The lady came back on and told me my new address, now any person with internet access can figure that out. I told her that was not proof, that I want to hear the recording, also I demanded to know what their address and number was, neither she would give. She did provide a number from the original company, and when I called it immediatley went to voicemail, which I never got a call back.
I finally looked up their information on Lexis Nexis, and sent them a demand letter outlining the laws of this state. Those winners haven't called me back or sent anything via email.
When it comes to this company, don't believe them, make them prove it. I know I never agreed to pay for a mag subscription, and there was no recording.
SO beware, you don't even have to be a buyer!
