LuminousBrites refusing to issue required RMA Glendale California
I replied to a pop-up online and ordered a free trial of teeth whitener(which actually was not free, you agree to charge the $5.99). To cancel future shipments the instructions state you need to contact LuminousBrites by telephone (1-866-360-1477) or to email @ support@luminousbrites.com within 15-20 days of placing your free trial order, otherwise, you are enrolled in a monthly program. Your credit card is chagred $88.97 for a monthly shipment.
If you cancel your contract and want to return the product, you need an RMA. I tried the telephone number almost daily and never got to speak to a person, I was on indefinite hold, until I would finally hang up. I called the number within the 15-20 day time frame thinking I would get the RMA before the deadline but I was wrong. My 20 days expired 11-30-08 and I received a shipment on 12-1-08.
I sent emails on the contact page on their website and to their support department email address. They state a reply will be sent within 24 hours but I sent 12 emails before someone replied. In the email, they did not give me the required RMA, they offered to let me keep the product for half price. I wrote back and requested the RMA, telling them I didn't want their product.
They have yet to issue the RMA and I have requested it by email for 15 days. I contacted my credit card company and the charges are in dispute.
