I unintentionally purchased a free trial of Luxe Skin Care, intending to buy a totally different item. The link took me to this item.  When I received the product, I saw that it contained synthetic snake venom! What?! I figure synthetic venom is either completely useless (think "snake oil") ...or else it IS active -- which is just plain scary. Why would I want to put that on my face!?

I never used the product. I attempted to send it back, but buried in the fine print was a notice that I only had 14 days to return it. Drat!  I had missed the deadline -- but I blamed that on myself and figured it was an expensive lesson learned.

One month later, they charge me AGAIN and ship another batch! Now...even if I loved the product, there's no way it would be used up in one month! This too was buried way down in the fine print -- I was basically subscribing to a monthly service. Perhaps this is legal, but it's very deceptive business practices. When I threatened a chargeback, they eventually agreed to give me a 50% refund on the last batch shipped.

Don't buy -- or even try -- this product unless you are ready to commit to months of payments!

I ordered the product online and when I received it and saw that it contained snake venom I was concerned but went ahead and tried it anyway. With my 3 jobs I seriously don't have a great amount of time-the product started making my face red and very sensitive so I stopped using it but did not contact them within the appropriate amount of time for my "trial" period - which was much shorter than most "trial" periods, not enough time for the product to even begin to work. They don't give you an indication of the price but they do include that you need to use "both" of the products they are selling together for maximum results and they send "trials" of both. When I looked at my bank account I saw that each product was billed at $90.00/bottle and they billed me twice. I never even received the 2nd package and they said that was my problem because they had mailed it. It's billed as two companies with two different phone numbers, per my bank statements, however the same person answered the phone for both numbers (foreign accent - a little hard to understand). I am now out $365.00!
