Several years ago I was investigating the possibility of purchasing an infrafred sauna and spent a year or two doing so.

I recall a company--now out of business--that not surprisingly cited about 20 customer testimonials. They seemed plausible enough. Eventually, I stumbled upon Luxsauna  (It may have had a different name at the time just as Sunlight Saunas has gone through several incarnations). I was amazed to see there were at least a half a dozen testimonials on the Luxsauna website that had been on the initial website (and which had been in business prior to Luxsauna's startup. Luxsauna had merely changed the name of the customers and claimed these testimonials were written by purchases of their units. This is a very serious matter. At the very least it suggests Luxsauna employs duplicity and dishonesty in advocating the merits of its product.

While I no longer have a list of the particular testimonials Luxsauna appropriated from the disbanded company I see that there are still several of the fradulent testimonials on their website.

This incomprehensible breach of ethics would be enough for me to refuse the gift of a unit from Luxsauna.

Suffice it to say, when one understands the physics of infrared radiation, Luxsauna is just as misleading in the description of their emitters efficacy as they are with their missapropriated testimonials.
