Luxury Limo LLC Ripped off, illegally ran my credit card, expect cash up front for nasty limo without working Air Conditioning, Clinton Township, Michigan

June 26th, 2010 was a beautiful saturday, the sun was shining and I was about to marry the woman of my dreams.  The day quickly changed course when Luxury Limo LLC showed up in a limo too small to hold the people we had contracted them for, with no working air conditioning on an 88 degree day, with ripped seats and headliner, broken stereo and the smell of a college tailgate port-a-potty.  


My bride-to-be called me on the way to the church telling me about all the things wrong with the limo which I instantly hung up and called the main office to figure out what was going on.  I was assured by  Matt, the dispatcher, that the AC worked fine and the limo was in tip-top shape.  I got to the church, anxious and was told that my bride was crying and the bridesmaids were all very uncomfortable in the short ride to the church which messed up thier hair and makeup.   My dad went out and told the limo to go fix the air conditioning and clean up the limo and was told that nothing would be done until we paid the balance in cash immediately.  We refused and told the limo they were fired if they didnt get us the proper limo we had been contracted for.  They refused without again to do nothing without cash up front.  We then fired them and were scrambling for a new limo minutes before the ceremony was to begin.  Luckily, a family friend was able to arrange a new limo company to come and pick us up after the ceremony and take us to the reception and home at the end fo the night and originally contracted.


The next day I called my credit card company to dispute the deposit I had previously paid for the limo.  That was when I was told that Luxury Limo LLC had run the balance of $750 on my card and that I now had to dispute two charges.  The Limo company charged my card illegally without signature, ID or Card present...all which was supposed to be necesssary to be able to pay with a credit card.  I never signed any contract or agreed to any charges.  The dispute department was able to get $375 refunded of our $950, but we were still being charged $575 for a limo we didnt even use and fired the day of the wedding.  Im currently dealing with the credit card company still, all 3 major news channel investigators and the better business bureau to try to recoup my lost $575.  When I called the Limo company to try to resolve peacefully, I was told to "sue us" and was hung up on.  I strongly recommend all parties to refrain from doing business with such an immoral and corrupt company.  I dont want any other people's wedding day's ruined by such a terrible company.  Please spread the word so your friends dont make the same mistake we did going with Luxury Limo LLC
