Complaint Review: Luxury Pools of Michigan

Wow.  This company closed this year and just re-opened under another name?  Who would have known? Greg Ibrahim was my salesperson for Luxury Pools LLC as well (last year 2015) and now is the owner of Luxury Pools of Michigan.  After my down payment was cashed last year, several problems occurred.  First off, the timeline from start to finish that was quoted by Greg was wildly inaccurate.  4 to 6 weeks is used to excite you as the homeowner.  It is now 2016 and there are still issues.  The pool delivery occured early June last summer and there are still several problems with the construction.  Greg Ibrahim was constantly at odds with his contractors - pool installer, manufacturer of pool shell, and cement company.  The pool installer stopped working for Luxury Pools because of all the issues.  We had concrete issues, coping issues, railing and ladder issues, no training on our pool equipment, etc.  Decided to pay someone to explain our equipment to us and train us.  God help you if you need to call Greg with a problem.  Our experience was that his voicemail box was always full and never called back in a timely fashion or actually never called back at all.  We often received texts that read like this, 'Can I call you in a couple days?' A serious red flag.  As far as we know, Luxury Pools is a 'one-man shop' where all work is contracted out - as stated in the review above, the new company is only a few months old.  I think that people should be aware of this when choosing a pool company.  For such a large investment, you want honesty, reliability, and a reputable pool company that has been around for a while.
