Complaint Review: Luxury Spas Inc.

Luxury Spas Inc. Luxury Spas Lorain, Ohio 44053 I bought a jetted tub on July 28, 2012 for over $1600 and to-date I have not been able to use it at all. They sent a defective product which leaked water onto the electrical pump. I have struggled in obtaining customer service. I decided to hire a contractor to fix it but needed parts from them. It's been months and parts came in missing other parts. I would sincerely and seriously caution anyone from buying anything from them. Very poor product and very very poor customer service. Please read their Refund/Return policy carefully. They do NOT stand behind their product. When I noted that they sent a defective product, they quoted me their Return policy which makes you pay for their shipping cost to you (which they claim is FREE) and your shipping cost to them and a 30% restocking fee. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.  It's is now August 20, 2013 and I am still struggling to get parts and I have a contractor who can back up my situation. Lorrain Ohio

I bought a jetted tub from them on July 28, 2012 for over $1600.  After I had the shipping notice, they took the product off the website.  That's how I found out it was a discountinued item.  They sent a defective product what leaked water onto the electrical pump below.  All the fixtures on the tub leaked water onto the floor.  These are fixtures that came with the product -- not anything that had to be assembled.  I notified them of the defects.  It tooks a lont time with no visible progress.  I called them to return a defective product.  They quoted me their Return/Refund policy which means that you have to reimburse them for their FREE shipment to you (that's right, you now have to pay for what was free), you have to pay your own shipping and there is a 30% restocking fee.  Considering their charges to return a defective product plus the cost of hiring a contractor to initially install it, paid an electrician to install a new outlet for the tub and now the cost of hiring a contractor to take it out and return it, all in all it would have cost me more than the product itself.  It is now August 20, 2013, and I still have not been able to use the tub.  Sheet rock is still cut open while waiting for them to resond and send parts.   BEWARE of buying anything from them.  I would not do business with them.  I have also filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and saw that they are not accredited with BBB.  DO NOT BUY from Luxury Spas Inc.
