Worked for these guys for 30 days in Mississippi and was only paid for 5 days. They dont even have the courtesy to email us to try and pay even a few hundred dollars. They promised and promised to pay but it's been 6 months and still waiting. The company is fake and the producer Lyle Howry is incompetent of putting together a budget for a kindergarten birthday party. We gave up 30 days of ourlife to make a movie on promises and didn't even get the week we worked paid for. Only the week when we were off. No per diem and no food provided for more than 3 weeks. Don't work for Lyle Howey he is an imbecile and a person of poor character and morals.

I had similar dealings with Lyle Howry, he is genuinely in short a liar and is a cheater,,, He is in the Police Clets system. Heres is A court doc, signed by a Judge about similar activity with Lyle Howry, and he is working with a girl name Victoria Ann Williams out of Plainfield Illinois

One again, you have not disclosed your name and what you are saying is not true about me or my company. Please disclose your name. And I have been trying for months to help everyone and myself included, I have over 50 emails and have corresponded with everyone that was on the mailing list. And as far as taking half your pay, Acre has no funds. I was not the owner of the project nor did MY COMPANY INVEST IN IT!! Why don't you look up the credits on IMDB and see under company’s who was finance. Maybe then you will see who is responsible for not paying. Do your home work before you falsely accuse someone of not paying you. And have the guts to post your name so I can come and file a slander case against you! Also if you goggle the project it was registered and clearly stats what my role was, so once again you did not bother to do that because if you did you would see I my company nor myself was not the one paying you!
Trust me I feel for you and I was stiffed also and have all my contracts and credit card bills!!!

So i just wanted to respond to the rebuttal in the manner that the company is trying to make it seem like they are trying to do something when in fact they are not. I know for a fact people haven't been paid and nobody has reached out to us to offer at least some type of settlement. Im sure many of us would gladly take at least half of whats owed. But again its just the lack of professionalism and cooperation that has us writing these posts. I hate to write these because the business we are in is our livelihood but if i can spare somebody the grief and distress from working with a company that has the potential to screw them over i will do so. Until we receive monies from this production ( at least the time we worked onset) then more of these posts will be uploaded and written to save the hard working freelancers from being abused.

These statements are completely false and un-true, I would like to set the record straight. Who ever this Iron Curtain person is please come forward with your real name as this is slander and defamation of not only us as individuals but false statements about my company and Jeff Ross and Lyle Howey. Who ever this made up person is you did not work for Lyle Howey or Jeff Ross or Skinfly Entertainment. You worked for Acre Beyond the Rye, LLC Please produce a contract from Skinfly showing you worked for us! You can not and will not because you have never worked for us.
Please look at your crew deal memo or contract, it might be true you were not paid buy Acre Beyond the Rye LLC but you did not work for Skinfly Entertainment. We were contracted buy Acre Beyond The Rye to produce the film only. We are owed a major amount of money also and have not received it. We were forced to stop production and send everyone home and we paid out of pocket to fly, house and feed people from our own funds so they could get home.
Please note all crew that was on the set was paid for approximately 2 to 3 weeks until funds ran out do to the fact the investors stopped depositing funds into the production account, at that point we told people it looked like we should all pack up and return back to their homes. If this person was not paid we are still trying to not only get them their funds but also ours. Because we are the company and or producers higherd we are not the owner of the film and not responsible for people not getting paid but to try to continue best efforts to get everyone paid as well as our self’s. We continue to do so, but at this point there are no funds in the Acre LLC. On a side note Jeff Ross is not a part of Skinfly Entertainment and was only a contracted producer as I was. Please disclose your name so we can try to resolve this problem.
