Lynette and Lisa Lavender sold me some Bert Stern prints of eBay and refused to send them unless I gave them an extra $200 to ship (within the same state!) I made the payment and got my print which has a photocopy of Bert Stern the photographers signature. They told me that cause the prints were in black and white that the signature is in black and white. I have since opened a PayPal case and they have suspended their PayPal account. PayPal asked for pictures which clearly show these are photocopies. Further more when the piece was sold to me and sent within a week the same edition and same pieces were listed on eBay. Artnet have banned them from listing on their site as they are passing off photocopies instead of original pieces signed by Bert Stern. Ono gallery have confirmed the pieces from lisa and Lynette Lavender are photocopies (which they didn't know until the boxes were opened).
They have bad feedback at 97.5% with bad feedback comments stating they have already scammed someone else.
Their prices are 4x the prices that Bert Stern sells for. And their justification was that it's cause theirs are genuine. But they suddenly have had over 400 pieces that I have seen more than anyone I know and they aren't the estate of Bert Stern who doesn't even have this many.
They have no receipts for any of their items, and since I contacted them they have removed their photo on eBay and put their eBay account on private so people can't leave bad feedback anymore.
eBay are investigating closing down their account on eBay.

My name is Stacey Legate. My mother had sex with Bert Stern and I'm one of his secret love childs.
So I don't use the name Stern or try and make money of his name like YOU do, when you aren't even family.
But I'd like to inform you that my friend has set up shop on eBay selling JEWELLED yes I use the term loosely cause like your JEWELLED crap, these items are very cheap to make. That's how I call sell these for $125 or even less. And you want what $8000 or so. Talk about making money (or trying to and failing) making money of a dead man. Bert left these prints to me, some signed and some not and you have no right to sell prints with your inferior jewels on them. I have a contract that I was to produce these. I have the full blessing from Stanley Kubrick who was Bert's friend. But I'm gonna over load eBay with cheap PIGMENT signed prints over the course of 2016. So any you list I will list at buy it now $400-$500 for a 13x19 inch (You know just like what you have).

Here is my price 13x19 $500 for the signed print and then $250 to jewel it which is my time. So $750, as apposed to your $8000.

Finally these are the usernames Stacey Legate created from a black list, including my name to buy photos from my store to rack up the seller fees. As you can see Ebay was aware of it and have told me they had filed a criminal case against her. I have been completely cooperative with them. This has been going on for 8 months now. She is the one that left the negative feedback on Ebay as well.. This woman never bought one photo from me.

This person has been obsessed with making trouble for me for over 8 months now. She has created dozens of user names on Ebay, to buy my Original, signed, copyright stamped on the verso, Bert Stern photos. THE ORIGINALS, also come with a Signed, Dated, COA.
I Have a store on Ebay, my username is bertandtwins and sell on Artnet, and Invaluable.. And I have a paypal account FOR OVER 20 YEARS!
I have known Bert for 20 years, as his personal asstistant, and family friend. My twin sister and I saw him everyday. Over the course of being his caretakers, he help enlarge our archive, as we sold around the world very successfully.
Later we were the only Artists, that he consented and signed contracts to jewel his photos. We used genuine swarovski crystals sent From Vienna Austria, and fresh water pearls from China. They are also copyright stamped as well.. We have been very successful exhibiting Bert stern Jeweled pieces in shows like Istanbul Turkey, Dubai, and New York City.
I would ignore this kind of slander, and jealousy, but she has forced me to defend myself. You see Ebay has finally filed a criminal case agains her. She has already been arrested three times. She continues to impune me, with this abusive charade. Soon, she will be arrested.
This woman never bought one photo from me. I wish Rip off.com would request proof from this person, proof of purchase, a receipt coming from me? Well, that shows the validity of this site. but they will send an email for me to pay a fee to remove this slander?
So I will tell you, I have no need to sell copies, when I have 3 storages of signed Bert Stern photos. I solely, only sell his work. I am the closest seller to Bert Stern. My photos came directly from him to me and stored in a box. I sell only originals, signed personally by him, given personally to me siged, dated, and limited editons. I also had Bert sign, date and edition number the COA's before he passed away 2013. I also work with closely his children. Anyone who really knows me, I am genuined, kind, honest and trustworthy.
