i purchase a new lynks's wirless router at walmart.

brought it home it would not work correct directly from package so i contacted lynksy's support.  they got it partially working but i kept having problem's with this router.  so i kept contacting there support after 3 months they told me it was out of warranty and i only had 3 month's i purchased in nov. 09   they told me out of

warranty back in march.  i argued i bought it and registered it and have been same argument for a year now.

they wont replace  or fix or even help with support so people no lynsky's is a fraud i registered it and they wont even produce the records of that.  what a FRAUD!!!

WARNING BUY ANY PRODUCT BUT LYNKSY'S I GOT RIPPED OFF AND TREATED LIKE A NOBODY AND THERE SUPPORT DONT RANK EITHER.   TOTALLY A WORTHLESS PRODUCT MANUFACTURE AND USE'S WALMART TO TRY AND SELL THERE WARRANTY DATE.      OBVIOUSLY NOT WHEN YOU PURCHASE IT.   ANOTHER COMPANY WILL ENJOY MY BUSSINESS

Linksys - great products

Linksys has been around for quite a while and has been making great products and their support is excellent.   Not everyone is a competent user, much less a competent speller or communicator.

They got it working, sounds like a tech issue

If it were broken it wouldn't work.  This sounds like you are having tech issues.  My guess is you need to learn how to do a reset cycle.   Remember cable modems and routers don't always like each other.  But if you cycle them on and off in the right order you get the connection reset.

This happens about once a year to me.  But at my old house happened about every two months.  has more to do with the cable company then the router.

Routers are not really "plug and play" and everyone should learn how to fix basic tech support questions.
