At my last visit to this "Health Center", ALL I wanted was a simple referral to see a specialist.

The Spanish speaking staff member who was attending to me apparently never saw a "US PASSPORT CARD" called security. 2 Staff members came in like "an LAPD Swat team" and took a an aggressive "fighting stance" next to me.

 

I was then asked to leave by these two "security officers" because they thought my picture on my US Passport Card did not look like me. Apparently they deal with SO many foreigners that they are NOT familiar with what a US Passport CARD is ! ! I provided FOUR (4) alternate forms of picture identification such as a regular U.S. Passport with many visa stamps, a Mass Driver's License, SSN Card, AND Work ID (U.S. Department of Labor Contractor).

The "security team" then took my picture IDs around the Health Clinic and asked for "opinions" from other staff members on wheather or not the IDs were REAL.

For some reason, ALL of their staff members thought my IDs were FAKE. As a result, they refused to provide me with service. (Although I have been going there for around 8 years ! ! )

From my personal experience in the last 8 years with this "Health Center", U.S. Citizens are treated like s**t. Approximately 75% of the staff members at the front desk barely speak English. Special attention/preference is given to Spanish speaking residents in terms of treatment and quality of service.
