Lynnes Subaru (Service Dept) dishonest, liers, bad customer service My car was broken into while it was there for service and Lynnes Subaru feels they are not responsiable Bloomfield New Jersey

My Subaru was in for service due to engine problems which Subaru of North America covered. My car was brought in on 12/12/2003 and was broken into on 12/26/2003 on there lot. I was only advised of this 3 days latter. I just picked up my car on 01/22/2004 it took 5 weeks for a problem that could have been done in 2 weeks. Lynnes Subaru feels they are not responsiable for the damages done in regards to the brake-in the total cost of repair is $960.00 and they do not want to pay. Bad customer service I even purchased the car at Lynnes

If your car was broken into while you were at the grocery store, would you expect the store to pay for the loss? If your friends car was broken into while he was at your house, would you bust out your checkbook? Pretty unlikely that anyone would pay for something they are not responsible for.

The best thing you can do is report the break in to your insurance company. If Lynnes Subaru is truly responsible for the break in, the insurance company will take them to court for the costs.
