I cannot stress enough of how bad this place is. Upon moving in the dryer and a/c didn't work. The place was infested with ants and roaches. Roaches were nesting behind pictures hanging on the wall. The exterminator wanted to move the tenants out so he can get the infestation under control, which didn't happen. The a/c unit outside was from 1980 and would run all the time. My electric bill was around $250 monthly. I complained every week and they still would not fix it. They would show up, say it was fine and then that was it. I finally bought an electronic thermostat and put it in myself which didn't help. The blinds were all melted when I moved in from the sun and yet they charged me for damaged blinds when I moved out. One night a storm came through and knocked out all my receptcles in the house. Only the fridge and tv one worked. None of the breakers were tripped. It took 2 weeks for someone to come look at it and they were still unable to fix it. Nobody empties the trash at the pool/picnic areas so they are overflowing with garbage and all the kids in the neighborhood like to play soccer ball until 2:00am in the morning even though the court closes at 10:00PM. There are abandoned cars parked everywhere in the parking lot some taken apart and covered with tarps. When I complained about it they did nothing. The breezeway lights never worked and the stairs I had to climb to get to my apartment felt like they were going to fall down. I was constantly taking my own hammer out there to drive in nails that were coming out of them. There was also a dead body that was pulled from one of the buildings when I was there.

I have lived in Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge since 2008 and I FORTUNATELY can't attest to ANY of these allegations. When I first moved in there was a roach problem, I wouldn't call it an infestation. And yes, I had to stay on them about it. I called pest control out every single week (they only come once a week) to treat my apartment. The thing about apartments is I can call them everyday if I want, but if the person who is feeding them aren't calling about the problem, then it won't get fixed. Anyways, after a while they were gone and I haven't seen ANY in a long time. (years.) I've never had a problem which my air conditioner. Though my electricity bill does go higher in the summer time, and it has been as high as $250 that's only in the summer months when I run my air conditioner constantly which I have learned not to do. We spend a lot of time at the pool and it's always clean. If there are kids playing at the "soccer court" after it's closed, we do have a 24hr security that you can call for any reason. When things did happen in my apartment such as my washer wasn't working, dryer wasn't working, toilet running, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and yes at some point over the last almost 4yrs I have had a problem with all these things, they were out here the very next day if not the same day to fix it. Another thing, I asked to view my apartment before I moved in it. Had i seen melted blinds or anything like that I would have definitely demanded that those things be fixed before I moved in or they could forget about the lease I signed or was going to sign. That's just standard in apartment/house hunting. And if something isn't right, I'm not going to sit on it and talk about them later, I'm going to stay on them about it and make sure my issues are heard and corrected. No you shouldn't have to fight them about it, sometimes that just they way it is. These are cheap apartments in a great area....
