M. Carroll Blacktop Service Did not honor warranty - evan after contacting BBB Benbrook Texas
Mr. Carroll was hire to chip-seal my driveway.
Normally, after doing this type of work, removal of the loose stones occurs leaving a pavement-like surface. However, he said it was best to leave the loose gravel on, so I did.
As time passed it became obvious the tar was laid too thin and spots were so thin, it became muddy when it rained and weed were growing through in over 50% of the driveway.
Since he gave me a 1 year warranty, I called and left messages and texted Mr. Carroll, but no reply. I then contacted the BBB to get help and he told the BBB he would contact me and come do the repair work. He NEVER did.
I still have the text messages trying to contact him on my phone and unfortunately still have a lousy looking driveway.

the owner of M Carroll blacktop service I see your complaint it clearly states on your contract we do not guarantee against vegetation grass or undergrowth we will spray it with a herbicide the first time up to the homeowner to carry-on after that i've lived in Texas my whole life anybody who's living in Texas their whole life knows it's hard to put a handle on killing grass we have went winners and very hot dry summers that makes a perfect time for the grass to grow you must keep handle on herbicide on any areas where there's grass vegetation on the road and on this complaint anybody can check my reviews on BBB I have an A+ rating!!!!!
