I used to be in the Herbalife business, and their products are amazing! I lost 16kg in 8weeks! I mean, the fat just literally 'fell off' me! I was so impressed that I decided to get involved with the business.

However, I live in Japan, and their are not a lot of overweight people here :(

The only downside I had with Herbalife is the expense of their products. (The SAME Herbalife products in the USA are MUCH MUCH cheaper in the USA than we get them for in Japan!) Sure you pay for quality, but I was able to find alternatives at cheaper costs.

I hated selling and ended up with, and still have, Herbalife products that no-one wanted. The whole time I was with the business, I sold just TWO items!:( Not that that was Herbalife's fault, more mine really. At the time, I never knew anything about talking to people and didn't have the time to study an effective plan.

I'm now with Melaleuca, love their products and the business. (I've now done a lot of studying about talking to prospects;>)

What I liked about your statement was the above quote. If you want success in ANY home based business, you MUST know your products/services very well. The only way to know them well is to USE them yourself, as you clearly stated.
Too many people jump into home based business feet first without knowing anything about their products, and expect diamonds to fall from the sky!

Know your products people, and THEN you will have the edge needed to be successful in your home based business.

I was reading all of the post and i decided to write some lines.

I started as a herbalife customer. I have to lose weight fast. before herbalife, i was 5.1" with 192 pounds to lose after my first pregnancy.
i saw a herbalife weight loss flyer called the distributor bought a ultimate program, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND DO WHAT THE DISTRIBUTOR TOLD ME, and then i started losing weight.

Despite the negative people around, instead me and my distributor, i lost 50 pounds and 10 sizes of clothes in just 2 months!!

After that i started doing the business do the boom of people interested in lose weight.

My husband and all of my relaitves lose a lot pounds and inches, too.

The impact was so huge that we decided to do the business fulltime and we started earning 5,000 thousands a month and in just 2 months we became from a supervisor to a world team member!!.

But i bet that if you use the products very seriuosly, you're going to feel very good and start loving the products. After that, your relatives and friends would like to purchase your products and they are gonna star referring people to you over and over.....

If they live outside florida, i sent them for free a personalized your program dvd and some samples and a letter with my personal information and how they can contact me.(only charge 19.99 to cover the shipping & handling). I'm having an incredible sucess with this way of do the business.

My distributors start the business purchasing their lincense(100), a health or lose weight kit to try themselves and a dermajetics kit or personal care product kit to try for themselves and to let sample it to their prospect. They never worked alone. And work with them until they a become a supervisor (50% profit) and are very well trained.

Me and my downline are happy with this business and products!!

This post is for anyone, pro or con, reading through these threads.

My opinion of Herbalife is that it is a Pyramid Scheme.

It doesn't matter what it is named....global online systems, newest way to wealth, verticle skip marketing, etc.... Herbalifers makes it a point not to divulge who they are, when recruiting new distributors. Too many people have been burned by this scheme, and the word is getting out. So they re-package and rename every so often, knowing that the scam will gain new recruits.

Before you Herbalifers start rebutting me, please read the "Global Online Systems" threads, as I have been through it all with Carl, from Clearwater Florida. So if after reading through that debate, you have anything new to add, then feel free to do so. If you are considering joining up, then I strongly urge you to read through all the threads as well, as I think you will get the big picture, as to what Herbalife is really about.

Are you still out there Carl? You haven't reared your head in sometime. Have you finally thrown in the towel? Just wondering if you are still soldiering on for the cause?

I understand where your coming from because I thought the same way. Wow 25% thats not much at at all but when you think about it most small business that start barely make that kind of profit their first year in the business and thats what Herbalife is it is a small home based business with way more profit potential and a better compensation plan. I am in Herbalife and I've been doing it for 9 months but I have just recently gotten succesful. Why is that because, I decided to start working for my dreams instead for someone elses dreams. I myself couldn't find anyone who wanted the opportunity or the products. They looked at me like I was rediculous. All I knew was one thing. Their are millions of people with worse circumstances then you because Ive seen them before who are very succesful with Herbalife. I understand people have different advantages in life but everybody with Herbalife has the same opportunity. Herbalife isn't what kept me in the game it was the knowledge that I could either work for someone else hour by hour or work hard for myself once and get paid for it until I die. Thats the difference. John P. Getty used to be one of the richest men in the world said why do 100percent of the work if you could have 100 people doing 100% of the work and thats the concept of network marketing. If mlm is not for you its not for you, thats understandable but think back to your deepest dreams of life that you had for yourself, those dreams you have probably would take some work to get their by now you may feel it's impossibel. Well, in Herbalife if you have the dream to make it to the top and you don't Work for it you wont get their at all. Theirs failures and drop outs in school in jobs and also in life. So if you want to get out of the rut you are in network marketing might be good for you if you just met some of the people cuz they are the most positive people I have ever met. And their goal is to help you become successful because, that the concept. If you help enough people get what they want youll get what you want. Also I know their are bad apples. My first Herbalife experience was with a guy who tried to sell me the business kit for 300 dollars. Then I met someone else who is very honest and just warm hearted who helps me every step of the way. Its kind of like if a bad teacher gets hired at your school tomorrow and just so happens they are teaching your children and he uses foul language. Maybe thats just one bad teacher who will be reprimanded quickly but their may be 100 more teachers in the school who are just what your kids need to learn and grow. Theirs a couple of bad lawyers couple of bad doctors and mlm isn't any different
