Around 2 years ago, one Italian "Model" look alike scammer stopped me in front of a bank in Los Angeles and offered me several fake leather jackets in exchange for cash to pay for his rental car and Rolex Watch for his wife's birthday present.

He told me if I had helped him out, he would initially pay me $5,000 the same day through money wire transfer, which he never did. I even wrote down his home address, phone number, passport information, and bank account number for reference puposes and checked to see if his cell phone worked on the spot.

At that point, I decided to help him out and accepted his offer of 3 "FAKE" leather jackets for an exchange of $500. I tried to contact him every single day for about a week but unfortunatley he didn't answer. As a result, I reported the incident to the police and had few contacts with the lawyer to somehow catch this *&*&* and either put him behind bars or rip his *&*& off the same way!!!

But the case is still in pending status and there is nothing I can do but feel stuipid and angry. I've now learned a lesson not to buy anything off the streets or help anybody out in need of help, especially!!!! ITALIANS!!!!

Who ever catches this crook or finds out where he is, please let me know immediately.

Fell for his SCAM on 3/27/07 in New Jersey.
Asked for help to pay for his rental car. Needed to catch a plane back to Italy. Said he lost all his money in Atlantic City. Offered me some jackets as well as thanks but I didn't accept them. Gave him $350
