With is being the primary reason I purchased the bats, not to mention this guy Mark going on and on about the quality of the wood used in the bats I was willing to overlook the EXTENSIVE delay in shipping the order and the error with the finish.
Since season of the the league I play in was underway I wanted to hit some BP and see what all the fuss was about. What a wake up call that was.
I purchased 2 bats one Maple and one Birch.
Long story short-> the birch bat quickly developed a flat spot the size of my hand in the barrel after about 2 buckets of soft toss and BP in the cage ( NO MACHINE, just soft straight fastballs from behind the L screen). The wood is so soft you can easily indent it with you finger. Every ball that I hit left extremely deep lace marks in the wood in addition to the flat spot that was plain as day.
The Maple bat had 0 Pop and began flaking inside the cup within a week.
These bats are no where near "Pro Quality" I own and have owned (LS M9 1XX to name one)... this "company" focuses more on looks (shiny finish, stickers, engraving) and the one time sale than on quality and repeat business.
More horrible customer service: When I contacted the "company" about the flat spot and quality of the bat I was instructed to return them for "review" at my expense. After sending the bats back I was insulted, called a liar and told the bats would not be replaced and if I wanted the ones I purchased back I would have to send another $24 to pay the freight. (I shipped them "for review" at a cost of $4.75)
Take away-> If you are considering doing businesses with this "company", or buying one of their bats

I just wanted to share my experiences with M^Powered Baseball, and my purchases in the past. I was playing Professional Baseball in Arizona when I met the Owner Mark, who was a very nice guy, very honest and transparent. I liked the way his bats felt and looked so I decided to try a couple of them. Not only did they last me throughout the season, but my teammates bought them also because of how well I was playing with them. After I signed with another team, I continued to use M^Powered Bats throughout the Minor Leagues. They are quickly becoming popular, reliable, and great altogether. I just read what the other guy wrote and shook my head. First of all, its only a baseball bat, and whether your a Professional Baseball Player, like me, or an Amateur, like yourself, you should understand that bats break. It's the Indian, not the arrow!

M Powered Bats, my gamers!

I, and several of my teamates, have used M Powered bats over the last several years.
I have had several swings where the bat did not have pop... can you believe user error was the cause? Yes!
I have also had many swings where the ball effortlessly flies off the barrel of the bat. User and bat squaring up with the ball!
Have I had bats break? Sure, jammed or off the end of the bat, not bat failure due to faulty wood!
Indents? Heck yea! Means I squared up and put some meat into the swing!
Buy more bats? Yep! Not since early last year though because my gamer is still in use!
Good swings everybody and less sour grapes.

BOGUS REPORT WITHOUT MERIT
#8REBUTTAL Owner of company

It takes all kinds in life and this Harold Holden of Greer South Carolina takes the cake. Mr. Greer contacted our company to make 2 baseball bats; one birch and one maple. He asserts pressure, what pressure?? He contacted our company unsolicited, that is the first untruth. His custom order was placed with our company on May 12th, at which time I actually took the production. We value small orders and large orders alike. We custom made his two bats of major league approved wood less the ink dot we apply for mlb and milb clients. The turn around time on bats can range from 2 to 5 weeks depending on the time of the year. This was fully explained to Mr. Holden by me. And yes, we charge a cc in full for every custom order, this is customary in the business, not out of the ordinary. And yes we shipped in 4 weeks, again not out of the ordinary during any time of the year. And yes we use the highest quality North American billets in the business. We are an approved professional bat seller and have scores of mlb and milb clients. Every wood bat will have indenture marks from balls, especially ones with artificially raised seams. Take a look at any bat, they all have this reaction from striking a baseball. So this comment is nothing new for baseball players who swing wood; both amateur and professional. "maple bat had zero pop" is a ridiculous comment. Mr Holden also emailed me and said it "did not work", a ridiculous comment. Mr. Holden may need batting instruction as we hit and analyzed each bat and his comments were completely off base and not applicable. The flat spot could have been from Mr Holden striking a fence post, as this type of surface abrasion is rarely seen from striking a baseball. In fact we allege that Mr Holden is a chronic complainer based on what we have seen and find all his allegations baseless and without merit. Lastly, MAPLE does not flake, only ash flakes. There is no such phenomena in the baseball bat world.
We have sent Mr. Holdens bats back as they are his property. They worked fine and Mr Holden should also know that wood is a natural product and breaks down in time. We found that both bats were used extensively as evidenced by the ball marks and ink marks on each bat.
Lastly, we believe that our company has done nothing wrong whatsoever. We took Mr Holdens order in good faith and executed as promised.
We take his negative comments very serious and have again found his allegations as baseless. Should our counsel decide Mr Holden is intentionally attempting to damage the good name of our hi growth company, we will take appropriate legal action
