Complaint Review: M&R Technology

Beware of this company M&R Technology. My company purchased their software. The software is unsecure and sub-standard to say the least, but at the time we were a new company and needed to cut costs. After sometime passed the software stopped working and began to give us errors. Now we were using this software to maintain our inventory and as a Point of Sale software. I called the phone number listed on the website for customer support. It sounded like some mom and pop operation that was being worked from out of a trailer park or something. After being bounced around I was finally transferred to the "owner" I believe his name was Mike. Mike sounded like some biker gone software geek and was very very very rude to say the least. He used words like " you dont have a clue" and the "problem is between the keyboard and the chair". I never once let him know that I am not just an A+ certified technician but that I also have a degree in computer technology and software. He went on to say that he would not be able to help me unless I purchased the upgrade which was usually 149.99 but he would give it to me for 49.99, but he couldnt promise it would fix the problem. I told him that this was unacceptable and he began to yell and then hung up on me. Now Im stuck with a useless piece of crap software called FF INVENTORY... that I paid 149.99 for and the company that sold it to me is unwilling to support it. Stay away from this company and software it and they are a scam... the software I beleive is rendered useless in an effort to get you to buy the upgrade... stay away from this company they are a ripoff!!!!
