Maaco Ali Khan Maaco employee damaged a rental car returned by customer Houston Texas

I had my car repaired by Mr. Ali Khan at Maaco (3560 Old Spanish Trail. Houston. Tel: 7137417444) during April 23 -25 this year. While my car was being repaired, I rented a Nissan Versa from Enterprise which was arranged by Mr. Khan at Maaco who recommended and called Enterprise. I returned the rental car and picked up my repaired car at Maaco on April 25. Mr. Khan promised to return the rental car back to Enterprise right away but instead he later drove the car himself for another week and over 400 miles. He caused body damage in the process without initially informing the Enterprise when he returned the car. After I confronted him about the extra charge from Enterprise on my credit card, he persuaded the Enterprise to reduce the charge on my credit from 10 day rental fee to 2 day rental fee.  However, Enterprise damage recovery unit still pursued me to pay for the body damage incurred by Mr. Khan. Mr. Khan told me that he offered Enterprise to repair the body damage himself at Maaco so that Enterprise would not charge me for his mistake. But by then, Enterprise already had the Nissan Versa repaired. Mr. Khan then promised that he had settled with Enterprise so Enterprise would not hold me responsible for the damage caused by him. However, Enterprise damage recovery unit just told me that the claim had been sent to collections.
