I parked my car to pick up my granddaughter from school and a 17 year old hit it whom was insured by State Farm.  They paid for damages.

I put the car in the repair shop, came back to pick up the car and it would not start.  I had to pay for towing to a chevrolet dealership to understand the damage.

It turns out that State Farm suggest that when whelding was done the battery was left connected and the battery was not grounded, which shorted out these modules.

Maaco Collision Repair denies they did any whelding, which State Farm suggest they would have had to do, which caused the problem.

The Chevrolet dealership thinks that it possibly happened that way, they cannot say for sure.

The car was working find when I delivered it to the repair shop, and I believe they caused the problem some way, I cannot say how because I'm not a mechanic.

Now I'm left with having to pay for Repairs (Est. 2000.00). Car repairs, towing, rental car, parts.

Also state farm informs me that the body shop did shoddy body work.  There's clear evidence that they did a poor job.
