On June 9, 2003; I met with a salesman at Mac Haik Ford. I was interested in several models, but decided that I wanted to price an F250 Pickup and F150 Pickup. The salesman said he was "new" to sales. He sure seemed pretty experienced and savvy.

I asked him to give me his best price, as I had priced F150's at other dealerships. He said he thought the rebate was $2,500. I told him I had $3,000 cash and no trade.

The salesman said he would have to see the manager and come back with a price. I love this ripoff technique. He comes back to inform me they only have $1,500 cash back but can get me a price around $28,000. I had enough of the waiting game so I told him to fax me something at my office later, and I would get back with him.

I got back to my office and immediately called two other local Ford Dealers. They confirmed that the cash back (rebate) on Ford F150 Pickups was indeed $2,500. They both said they could give me a price on the same truck at Mac Haik for mid $25,000, before my down or any trade. This was over $3,000 less than Mack Haik.

Mark "Lot Sharks" will say anything to try to sell to you. The "I am New at this" is a bunch of BS They say this crap so you can't corner them with any question about the deal he or she is trying to dump on you.

Some say that I am a car sales person that could not make it. No, I say that I could not bring myself to Rip Off everybody that I talked to. I get much bigger rewards helping car buyers and car dealer victims.

I am going to post something that I want you to read. Think of this as a small bit of homework that will help you save money. This info that I will post for you is info that your favorite newspaper would never tell you in a news story.

Newspapers do not like to expose the dirty tricks in the auto industry. They get most of their advertising money from the good and bad car dealers.

Just think how much you would have to pay for a full page ad in your local newspaper if you wanted to have a big ad to sell your home.

Now here my fellow American is your homework. I want you to go to the following web sites. I want you to think REAL HARD on this. What product or service do they all sell to car dealers. Don't get me wrong.

I am not bashing these web sites. I just want you to check them out. What do they SELL?
