ive made arrangements to pay and one department doesnt know what the other is doing ruining my credit
im a technician whos been buying tools for over 25 years. i moved to a new shop and got behind on my payments. i made several attempts to call the number in the phone book to have a local driver/rep come to my new shop.

number was out of service i made many attempts to call my old dealer with no return call. when i returned to my original shop and met the driver. he was only concerned with his truck account which did not match my records. should of been leary of those hand written reciepts. i payed him unwillingly due to the discrepencies in amounts. i was contacted by mac tools mac advantage payment system that i was delinquete on my account. i told them that when i bought the tools and tool boxes they came with a contract for service. something they weren't providing they didnt care that they were in breach of contract they only wanted there money.

after being badgered for months i made arrangements with a rep named major at mac advantage. they have been taking 100 dollars directly from my checking account for months now. this arrangement was agreed by the rep as satisfactory till the whole balance was payed. now months later i recieve a statement thanking me for my payment showing a new total and another letter arrived the same day saying becuase i am making no effort to pay this bill my account has been turned over to collections. what is up with this. my friend at a lending institute filling out my loan application says mac is sluaghtering my credit with repeated hits on my credit report.

i am facing a 7% increase in interest rate due to this unneeded rudeness. i made arrangements with a rep from mac to pay them off in full. they have not made a friend and have lost a customer. they stopped coming to our shop which is a breach of contract in the original purchase agreement and my statement also says my minimum weekly payment is only 10 dollars. at this time i have no use for mac tools. there web page states customer serive is more important than the quality of there tools.

that makes me laugh becuase its the farthest thing from the truth ive ever heard. as a consumer i was aware that i got behind something that happens when mechanics leave one shop for another. it can be avoided on my part and i apollogized to mac for thatin the past. but when ya make a deal you should stand by it. i have the recieppts and staements showing a monthly withdrawl from my account so threating and sending me to a debt collection agency is just plain mean.

im hoping this can be resolved here and would appreciate any help from anyone who wants to help becuse i refuse to pay the total off which would fufill my contract obligations even though i could pay the $664 in one payment. the issue of breach of contract is what makes me stand my ground. i have purchased over $16,000 in tool boxes alone. i cant believe they can treat a man this way who spent that kind of cash on there product. my next action will have to be legal
