I build computers for people at times. I use to buy most of my supplies from Tiger Direct. They got fired back in 9/2004 for failing to supply a shorted order of two IDE hard drive cables.

This complaint goes primarily to Mach Speed though. Back on 9/3/2004 three computers were built using Mach Speed Motherboards. Two units were built for an insurance agent and one for my husband. All three rebates were filed by mail to Mach Speed for all units at the same time. All of the motherboards were purchased from Tiger Direct who had only supplied a packing slip. From reading the other complaint about Tiger Direct not suppling correct paper work for a rebate is not my problem but rather Mach Speeds.

Bottom line on my end is this, if a supplier fails to live up to a deal on a small amount of money, be it two hard drive cables from Tiger Direct or rebates from Mach Speed, I have no other choice but to fire them. Mach Speed, you have some nice mother boards, but I can not afford even the slightest upset from my customers because I do offer everything right down to filing a rebate and warranty info for my customers using their info and mailing addresses. The warranty for those boards was filed at the same time.

Funny time passes on. I still do not use Mach Speed anymore. I expect performance the first time around. As for Tiger Direct and several phone calls about a few dollars worth of cables, they have lost thousands of dollars of business. The same now applies to Mach Speed. I just wonder how many others out there like me terminate relations when a company can not get it right. That is the real message to send. You have been terminated. I do not have the time or energy to do your job for you.
