First of all I hope you have read Pilgrimpete's report. (Report: #404311) It is very good and very true!
It will save me a lot of time and effort not having to repeat what he has shared. Very good information and so, so right on!
I will go straight to my subject.
We (my wife & I) were recruited mid 2008 into MadeBig. It was a social networking website. Then shortly thereafter became a "gaming" website.
Then it changed to the new "Social Entrepreneur" website. We lost a lot of money with the Auto-ship program that was supposed to tie new users (ARMs) to you, a big joke! As well as the "Market exchange" which we sold a lot of stuff for coins/tokens that we will never see any tangible return from. We had over 2 million coins! Another unkept promise that they would materialize. Ha ha.
Anyway, around Oct. 08 Richi told the masses that "Your Business at Home" magazine had approached him to do a full magazine write up on the company.
Well, he used this as a tool to recruit agents to his "Social Entrepreneur Bootcamp" saying that everyone that attended the bootcamp would be featured in the magazine. Ha,ha another joke!
There will be no writeup in "Your Business at Home" magazine. His numbers are too small! Imagine that!
Well, his boot camp was marketed as some "BIG" thing with keynote speakers and blah blah blah. For $800 a person it should have been a pretty good event right?....Uh wrong! What a freaking cluster f---!
We all (the agents) got to come up with all the new Tag lines (recruiting phrases) for the company. It was fun, but we should not have had to pay for something a normally reputable company would pay professionals to come up with!
Then we listened to one of Richi's buddys who owns a "Auto Rapid Dialer" website to learn how to recruit a "Cold Market". Again, some good stuff but I got the point after a couple of hours. It went on ALL DAY!...OMG!

O.K. so when it was done,we could not wait to get out of there and get on the road back to Medford Oregon, only a mere 820 mile drive.
I could see the frustration in my wifes face as to what we had just experienced. And sure enough we shared the same feelings as to what we had paid ($1600) to what we went away with...OMG. A bad feeling of being RIPPED OFF.
There were about 33 agents attend, X $800 = $26,400 for Richi.
So, a day after we got home I emailed Richi expressing my dissatifaction.
He argued with me back and forth, defending himself as to what took place versus what was advertised.
Well, I finally got a commitment from him to refund us $1000.
Here is a copy of his email reply. Pay close attention to his grammer:

Mike

I had Ashley credit your account $1000 it will payout with the March Monthly bonus. I also had her remove you from all bootcamp mailings and communications. I hope this is satisfactory for you. And to just let you know i did check the list and you were on a Webinar for bootcamper when I said the agenda had been changed and don't come if you are coming to hear someone firing you up or give you how to's it was going to be one thing: how to build a business without a warm market and we were going to roll our sleeves up and do the action not just listen to someone tell us how to do it...I guess you didn't see no value in that from talking to people in your group maybe you should have tried a little harder but Cindy got a lot of praise from her team for participation. Anyway I'll let the group know where you stand.

Have A Good Day

Richi

Well here it is over 4 months later and no money from him or TMII.

He read the mission statement from the TMII website Wed. night on the "Live Call" It just kills me that he can say "We are a team of visionaries with honesty and integrity" OMG another MadeBig JOKE!
Where is your honesty and integrity Richi? Where is the money you promised to pay us back?

Just thought all should know a bit more about the real Richi Roane.
And there are the facts and nothing but the facts!
