The board members hired us as a on-site managment team and entered into a employment contract with several items agreed upon with no intention of providing. Contract stated we where to be paid overtime for hours over 40 per. week, stated hours would be flexible, agreed to purchase our equiptment used to maintain the properties, medical and dental insurace, reviews, local support and backing, days off and 30 days notice of termination.

In 2005 there where 479 hours of overtime that never got paid, we kept getting promises and put off's. We where lied to about the condition of the property and not told about any of the problems that we where walking into. Gangs, Drugs, vandelism and deffered maintenance for the prior 9 months.

Every month in 2006 we requested pay for hours that had been worked and unpaid all we collected from them is $1600.00 and a whole bunch of empty promises to include a signed agreement to pay us for the overtime hours.

In addition Steve McInnis the board vice president and owner of several of the buildings we found out was as bad as a person can get. Intentionally ripping people off in many ways, tenants he rented to paid a refundable security deposit and Mr. McInnis never had any intention of refunding anything. In fact he ALWAYS sends a bill for damages in which almost always didn't exist.

When we refused to be apart of his criminal business practices he was on a mission to get rid of us and make sure that we don't get paid any money we where owed. When tenants would leave I would get contacted by them when they would get these outrageous bills instead of refunds of there deposit. I went to court when I was served to go and provided the courts with the documents needed to prove Mr. McInnis was trying to rip them off. The judges are learning him very quickly and I don't know of him ever winning a law suit.

When there was an electrical problem in the maintenance garage supplied by Mr. McInnis he refused to have repairs made until after both of us got an electrical shock and requested workmans comp forms to go to the doctors. We where not provided any forms, Mr. McInnis showed up had us open the garage and then tried to make us leave.

He had an electrician with him to look at the electrical and when we questioned him he said there wasn't anything found wrong and we where making it up. Yet the electrician added a wire and grounded out the garage door and electrical box that wasn't grounded.

April 2007 after demanding to be paid for the overtime hours and the equiptment that they had agreed to pay us for they came in and fired us and terminated our rental agreement on where we lived. They did not pay us for the overtime hours with in 24 hours of terminating our employment.

With our termination notice they gave us a letter stating that once a rep. for the association completed an inspection of the equiptment we would be given the $1593.60 they agreed to pay for the equiptment. May 1st Mark Newsome the past president for the association set up an appointment to complete the inspection, take possesion of and pay the agreed amount.

Once the inspection was complete the code to the garage changed so that we no longer had access to these items he said he would be in touch about the payment and took off.

We came here and worked alot of hours to clean up the property that they had been neglecting, got rid of the gang members, Drug dealers, and others that where tearing up these rental units inside and out. We where threatend multiple times and harrassed as the bad tenants tried to scare us off. We took control of these owners property back and cleaned up the neighborhood, increased property value and rental value for the owners of the association.

Instead of appriciation we got ripped off and used. Now we are unemployed, broke and are being thrown out of our home as well as had our equiptment stolen from us.

Should Have, Would Have

Unfortunately we didn't cut our losses much sooner and if we could go back in time would have. We are very honest and good people and have a hard time remembering that it is rare to find others out there that have the same ethics. We however are going to keep after them to collect our money and in 2006 and 2007 there was not much overtime hours worked, not that we got paid for the few hours extra we did work. Stupid of us to have stayed so long knowing they where ripping us off. In the future we will not be so naive!

English as a second language? I find it amazing that as early as 2005 you were having problems getting paid, promises were made and not kept and getting "put offs" and being lied to, YET THREE YEARS later you're still doing whatever it is you do for these guys that lie to you, cheat you out of your money and rip you off. I mean after 2005 passed and you had problems, 2006 came and went, with problems and here we are in 2007 and still having problems. Did you expect things to get better? The guys are scumbags, did you expect them to change? Did you expect anything to change? I probably would have quit in 2005 and cut my loses.
