Madwire Media REVIEW: âMadwire Media Execution Excellenceâ commitment to total customer satisfaction. Madwire Media number one objective is to grow your business and provide world class customer service, Guaranteed. Loveland Colorado
My startup eCommerce small business used Madwire Media to design our website. We had a limited budget but of course their salesman roped us into their most custom package at 12000 dollars. They told us (which is in their contract) that all the work would be done in "8-12 weeks" and would include all the features we wanted to customize. By the end of this disastrous project I had lost 8 months due to their delayed work, and they only completed 1/3 of the customization we discussed. When I demanded that they finish as to the specifications of the contract, they told me I would need to pay them for overtime. By the end of this project I had lost 12000 dollars (which they insisted I pay 8 weeks into it ) as well as 8 months. Never mind the fact that my company was forced over budget because we had to hire other web designers to finish the project they left unfinished. Madwire Media single handedly crippled my small business start-up dream by ripping me off and not delivering. I disputed the charges with American Express to try and recoup some of my lost money only to be informed that the charges were too old. I guess Madwire had a good strategy ensuring I cant win in this scenario. At least RipOffReport will stick up for the small business owner who gets kicked by the big companies.

Sadly, I agree with the above complaint. Buyer be aware.
My experience so far with Madwire Media has been maddening. They're unable to provide the service their sales people promise. I've done most of the design work and site map work. Their ideas are lame. It seems as if they use their old projects as templates and try to pass them off as a new design for your site. The coding time is minimal. They do not give you options or show you several plans or approaches to your project. They over charge for the extra services you thought you were paying for when you signed up.
Because they do not begin a project by helping their customer develop a clear project plan or help their customer gain a clear understanding of the ways their website can flow depending on navigation choices, too much time and money is wasted. There are too many things the sales person said could be done, but now in the design phase I've come to realize Madwire cannot do them without charging me more. Their contract is too vague, so they can wiggle out of any responsibility.
When I rebuild my website, I will not use Madwire Media.
