Magazine Publishers Service will not cancel subscription when asked repeatidly, keeps billing cc, did not receive watch as stated, says in Montreal, Quebec, however is actually in California, USA, funds are not Canadian, but US, keeps calling, sending magazines not even interested in and would NEVER order, says we can cancel early if we pay $400. Just want them to cancel our subscription, go away and leave us alone. The prices they charge are way more then what a subscription would be if purchasing from the magazine itself. Montreal Quebec
Telemarketer called my husband and offered him a free watch. All you had to do is subscribe to magazines and you would recieve x number more for free. Only $57.??.
Not understood $ was per month (an outrageous amount), and was in US $. Suppose to be a Canadian company.
Never received the watch. Receiving magazines we would never, ever subscribe to. Big game hunting, fishing, etc.
Once I found out about it I called to cancel. Was told only had X amount of days to cancel and we were passed that. I have talked to them 2 or 3 times to cancel.
Credit card company was also made aware of this and an investigation was done by them also.
Still receiving calls. Still won't unsubscribe, still no watch. They said they sent you a verification certificate to make sure the watch is going to the correct address. Never saw it. If we are receiving magazines, they know the address.
Just want them to discontinue the subscription. I even called one of the magazines and was told because we don't have an account (did not subscribe with them directly) they cannot cancell the subscription.
