I ABSOLUTELY HATE MAGGIE SOTTERO!!!! 

I ordered my dress 4 months ago and was told that I would be getting my dress about a month and a half before my wedding.  I'm getting married across country from where I live so I made a trip out for the specific purpose of having my dress fitting.  I arrived at the bridal shop (an authorized retailer on the Maggie Sottero site at the time of my order) only to discover that Maggie Sottero had terminated its account with the shop and was not delivering the dress.   

I'm on a flight back across country in 5 days so I called Maggie Sottero directly only to be told that I would have to find another authorized retailer and reorder the dress.  I asked them to rush deliver the dress to me since I was being caught in the middle here and was told that it wasn't something they could do.  I also asked them to deliver the dress directly to me and again was told that it wasn't something they could do.  Then the woman on the phone (Marie Johnson) went so far as to say that Maggie Sottero's relationship was with its authorized retailers and so they couldn't work with me even though they manufactured the product.  So, though they are in full control of this situation, they refused to provide any customer service to their end clients.  I figure it's because they have no incentive since people aren't constantly buying wedding dresses but for all of you out there who are buying Maggie Sottero dresses, you should consider whether you'd want to give your money to such an unethical company that shows absolutely no consideration for the very people that are keeping them in business. 

So now I'm going to find a dress off the rack but it will definitely NOT be a Maggie Sottero dress.

I wrote the original report above and since that time my opinion of Maggie Sottero has dramatically changed.  I was contacted directly by the Assistant to the President of the Company who went above and beyond to make sure that I received the dress that I had ordered before I left for my flight back across country.  She was absolutely wonderful to work with and in my opinion, is an amazing asset to the company.  What started out as an unfortunate situation wound up being resolved in a relatively short time because of her help.  I am so happy and excited to be able to wear the dress that I had picked out with the help of my mother, sister, and future mother-in-law!  THANK YOU MAGGIE SOTTERO!
