Accepts orders with only US Postal Money Order payment. Does not respond to E-mail or phone inquiries as to status of shipment. Then claims to only respond to certified letters with proof of payment within 30 days of order. This is a catch 22 with the time required to suspect a "lost shipment" and obtain proof of a cashed money order exceeds thirty days.

After 4 months of trying to get an answer on my missing shipment by E-mail, phone, and certified letter still did not get the goods or a statement of date and method of shipping. Complaints to US mail fraud, Better Business Bureau and other complaint lines have not resolved problem. BBB of Jacksonville presently reports this Company as unsatisfactory.

Now after 2 years, the Florida State Attorney in Jacksonville (Craig Aldrich, investigator) has investigated my complaint and many other complaints with for a possible criminal action. Mr. Aldrich has stopped the investigation, not finding PROOF for a criminal prosecution. The missing shipment are apparently all claimed to be sent by US parcel post with no traceable delivery.
Mr. Aldrich has explained that when shipments were made by traceable means the goods were actually received.

I suspect that Magic Box is not fully reporting income to IRS because my money order was cashed at a grocery store rather than deposited to a bank. This may make it possible to consider the income as "under the table" and not report it to the IRS.

A number of others have complained on a message board
