Magic Jack magic jack is a rip off dont buy Internet
i am advising people to not purchase this product.i paid 4995 for this product which includes one year service .. well i have been having problem after problem getting it even on to work .!!!.i have to voer and over agin take out put back in etc etc .. its just junk if you ask me!!! i pray one day this will be pulled from selling . and then it wont be out there scamming people no more!!!! i dont get calls to my home and i cant make calls out side sometimes.. this phone jack thing is worth nothing. and i wish i wouod have had the wisdom to realize that what we pay is what we get. we are gona just throw it away and get a cell phone .
so i would advise all people its better to get a cell phone service or reg phone company . for your phone calls . then of this .
rip off magic jack is the name !!! what kind of service is this where you cant even speak to a customer service person all they give you is frequent questions and answers . when u need to speak someone live where are they ????

Magic Jack is NOT a new company nor are they using 'new' technology. VOIP has been around for over a decade! They just have terrible service which should be painfully clear since they make sure there is NO WAY of contacting them. NO reputable company literally goes to great extents to hide from their customers. There is a clear reason Magic Jack needs to hide from their consumers; they steal from them and probably spend less for so called 'customer support' than an average mom and pop corner gas station does! Magic Jack is a company that should be avoided at all costs. Just ask anyone, would you do business with a company why has NO telephone number (when they are in the communication business) and has NO physical address? The answer is a resounding NO!

The Magic Jack works only as well as your high speed internet connection works. That being said; the technology that the MJ works on is fairly new and there are certainly going to be limitations on it, just as with any new technology.
MJ explains that in it's literature and on it's website. There is a comprehensive knowledge base also on their website to frequently answer answer questions as well as a customer service line.
