Magic Valley Cooperative Ruined our Lives. Lies demands threats harassment refused reconnection of power after we asked for a voluntary disconnect to fix unsafe wiring on our 90 year old home. This lasted 4 months and 6 refusals. Each time we asked they demanded something else. Over 10,000 spent and we had to maintain a separate home during the 4 months. I’ve tried a year to get compensation and have been ignored and marginalized. We want justice for not only ourselves but everyone else they have done this to. We are facing foreclosure due to the conditions they imposed on us. None of this was necessary we have since found out from Abraham Quiroga a member of middle management…after I finally made contact. He has been physically ill due to the stress and was rushed for emergency surgery in May. He will have another operation in September and they will probably continue his whole life. He is only 46. He was wounded in Afghanistan but continued to serve another 18 years. We moved here last April when he retired, back to the Valley where he is from. We moved here for peace and quiet, a nice life in the country and MVEC has robbed us of that.
