I'VE BEEN WITH VONAGE WITH 8 YEARS AND WORKED FOR ME.

BUT I WAS TRYING TO SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY AND GIVE A TRY WITH MAGICJACK.

THE INITIAL FEE WAS $64.62 ($29.95 YEAR, $19.95 TO TRANSFER PHONE NUMBER, $10 FOR INTERNATIONAL PREPAID)

AFTER 3 DAYS, FIND OUT THIS IS A RIPOFF (PHONE DIDN'T WORK WELL, AND INTERNATIONAL MINUTES/MONEY DISAPPEARED LIKE MAGIC)

THEN DECIDED TO SWITCH BACK TO VONAGE AND THEY TOLD ME NOT TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT WITH MAGICJACK UNTIL MY PHONE NUMBER IS TRANSFERED.

BEFORE CANCELLING, I'VE CONTACTED MAGICJACK SEVERAL TIMES (OF COURSE CHAT ONLY), AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL CHARGE ME $30 TO TRANSFER OUT MY PHONE NUMBER, BUT MY YEAR $29.95 WAS GOING TO BE REFUNDED.

SO, I END UP PAYING THEM $107 JUST FOR A FEW DAYS AND THEY WON'T REFUND MY PREPAID YEAR $29.95, BECAUSE THEY SAID I TRANSFERED MY PHONE NUMBER OUT BEFORE ASKING FOR A REFUND.

ONE OF THEIR AGENTS SAID SHE WAS GOING TO PROCESS MY REFUND, BUT WAITING ABOUT 4 DAYS, DIDN'T GET MY REFUND AND CONTACTED THEM AGAIN...NOW THEY ARE SAYING THEY WON'T REFUND MY MONEY.

THEY SAID IT'S IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
