we payued $3650 for 4 hearing aids on the card that comes with them it says 1year replace lost or damage on the recipe he gave says same nothing about deduckable onewas damage they charge $250 to replace they say to read small print in folder thatncomes with them i we had knon about we would not have got from them as we are on fixed income i feel we should have been told befor we order them thank you

Edward from Conway, NH filed a complaint against Magnatone. We are empathetic that he lost his hearing aid. Indeed it was replaced per the loss and damage policy at the cost of a deductible. This is standard industry practice. The small print as he describes it, is 10 point type. The "folder" which he was given, I assume is referring to the warranty card informational pamphlet. I wish he would have read his pamphlet so that he would not have been surprised.
Indeed, Magnatone sells devices to Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers who sell directly to the public. It is truly their responsibility to inform the purchaser of the type of coverage they are receiving. I believe Ed's beef is with the dispenser, but in good faith, if he will contact me, I will gladly double the length of his electronic warranty at no additional cost to him.
