Mail Boxes Etc charges double the price USPS does.
I mailed two packages, one was 7 lb and the other was 3 lbs. They charged $25.66 for the 7 lb box (USPS charges $12.83) and $12.64 for the 3 lb box (USPS charges $6.32).
That is exactly double the price for both!

Yes, MBE is a ripoff. They prey on the ignorant to come to them as first timers. Small businesses especially, any small businesses that uses them to send packages doesn't know how to do business properly. You can buy packaging materials in bulk, have it shipped to you, call UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc. to come and get your packages. Much cheaper that way. MBE is like "mommy" showing the ignorant business owner how to pack and send a package. Mommy, I can't do this, can you do it for me?
Well anyway, anyone out considering mailing a package, just go to the post office and get a fee "priority mail" box. Take it home and pack it, bring it back, pay for the postage. OR bring everthing to the PO, get the box, and pack it there.
