Complaint Review: Maine Virtual Solutions Ann Strout

I worked for this lady for 27 hours, she has you sign a contract that if you do not work at least 25 hours before quitting or being fired she does not have to pay you. She misread a message from me and fired me and then informed me she would not pay me, I told her if she didn't I would turn her into the labor board and she said do not threaten me .I informed her it was not a threat but a promise. after going round and round with her she then said she would pay me for 12 hours which she did not have to do, but would. I told her I worked 27 hours for $9 an hour and she owed me $243 and I expected it in full.

I never received payment and have turned her into the labor board and I have a case against her. Aparently she has done this to others and thought she could get away with it, but I worked hard for her and deserve my pay and will not stop until I get it. Her client liked my work so much he wanted everyone to do their spreadsheets like I was doing. She had told us that the client was probably thru with us and I asked her if there would be other work, she said she would talk to the client and get right back to me, that was Friday evening, I heard nothing from her so on Sunday night I messaged her since I had heard nothing I made plans for Monday, she misread it and admitted it after she fired me.

I do not want to see others going thru what I am going thru to collect money for their work, so I am warning all this lady can not be trusted and will rip you off if she thinks she can.
