IT FIRST STARTED WHEN I BEGAN TO RECEIVE MY TELEPHONE BILL THROUGH AN E-BILL EVERY MONTH IN WHICH I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR. AN E- BILL IS WHEN INSTEAD OF GETTING A PAPER COPY OF YOUR BILL IT IS SENT THOURGH AN EMAIL EVERY MONTH INSTEAD.I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WHEN I TRIED TO GET INTO THE WEBPAGE WHERE IT SAID VIEW YOUR BILL AND I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS THE PAGE. I WAS ALARMED BY THE ASTRONOMICAL AMOUNT OF MY BILLS EVERY MONTH IT WENT FROM ORIGINALLY BEING 63.00 DOLLARS A MONTH TO SOMETIMES BEING IN THE HUNDREDS. WELL MY PAYMENT COMES OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH SO THIS COMPANY HAD BEEN TAKING OUT MONEY THAT I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT. WHILE THIS HAPPENNED MY CHECKS BOUNCED EVERY MONTH GIVING ME HUGE FEES I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY UNTIL I CALLED SBC TELEPHONE COMPANY TO FIND OUT WHY I WAS BEING CHARGED SO MUCH EVERY MONTH. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A COMPANY WHO ATTEACHED THEMSELVES TO MY BILL AND I WAS GIVEN THE NAME MAINSTREET PLATINUM PLAN AND A NUMBER. I CALLED THEM AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A LONG DISTANCE SERVICE I DON'T HAVE LONG DISTANCE SERVICE AND THE NAME THAT I SUPPOSSEDLY HAD SERVICE UNDER WASNT EVEN MINE I ASKED FOR THEM TO CANCEL THE SERVICE. I WAS GIVEN A CANCELATION NUMBER SO IM HOPING THAT NO MORE MONEY WILL BE TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT AND I WAS ALSO TOLD TO CHANGE MY TELEPHONE NUMBER SO I WOULD NO LONGER BE CHARGED .
