This company contacted me around April 20th of 2005, and offered me a "stored value" cash card.

I was told that the card would be like a pre-paid card for the first three months and then after that it would be a credit card with a 5,ooo dollar limit.

All I had to PAY was a ONE-TIME FEE of $299.00 dollars and I would receive a letter in the mail that was being sent to verify my address.

Well I went along with the whole thing thanking that it was a great opportunity to help my credit.

My account was debited on April 29th of 2005 in the amount of $299.00 dollars and after waiting, calling, and being on hold for about 45min and being treated very rudely, I received a box with some stupid coupons and other crap.

However, the funniest thing was the MASTERCARD application FEE in the amount of $39.95.

And I quote "Fill out form below. sign it and send it in an enclosed envelope ALONG with a CHECK or MONEY order made payable to: PROCESSONG CENTER for $39.95 to the address located on the back of this application. The non-refundable $39.95 is the PROCESSING FEE for the card cost and set-up fee. Your card should arrive along with terms& conditions including card usage fees and deposit slips within 3 weeks. This is not a CREDIT CARD. It is a "stored value" cash card that MUST be loaded by you".

Now, if I wanted a card like that I would have just come to ACE and kept my $299.00
