Eli Allen AKA Eli Berkowitz of Majestic Images was hired as a photographer for my wedding. Not only did he not show up for the wedding, he called me, the bride, on my cell phone in the morning to inform me that he would would be late (he did not show). The wedding planner and/or my parents are the ones that he should havecontacted.

The photogrpaher that was sent was not full quality, particuarly for the high price that majestic images was charging.

He did not ahve the proofs ready in a timely manner (as promised) could not meet with us for over a month, spelled my name wrong on the proof books, got the pictures wrong for the album and had to redesign, forgot to do and confused some of the single pictures that were ordered, and I have yet to recieve my final wedding album (and it has been a year). Eli is now trying to charge us tax and extra shipping charges.

He never apologized for not showing at the wedding, he let an inadequate employee work with us ( Will mendez) and Eli even stated to me that Will was "not too bright"

This will be my last comment for Eli owner of Majestic Images for he has made me, my family and my wedding a miserable experience in regards to the wedding album and I would like to forget him at this point. But I did want to make it clear that Eli is a liar- I never changed my mind on the pictures chosen- his assisant kept making mistakes (even though on initiel meeting Eli may claim that he will do all the work, he never did the work on my album) and yes, it took over a year to get my album and it was all HIS FAULT. When Eli was initally hired, he promised me he would be at my wedding and even claimed that he was the only photographer. i don't know where he suddenly came up with this other supposedly professional photographer who actually showed at my wedding. I don't care if Eli claims that he never had a complaint made against him before- all i know is that is a lie as well. I would never recommend Eli to anyone but if someone wants to take a chance on him that is his/her choice. All I know is that Eli is a dishonest, rude, incompetent (and mean) man!

I write in response to Debbie Goldblum's defamatory and disingenuous posting. NEVER, in my 32 years as a professional photographer, has anyone accused me of dishonesty or hidden facts. The hidden costs for which Debbie accuses me of dishonesty are sales tax as required by law and shipping charges. The responsibility to pay these charges was clearly spelled out in 2 different places in the very Photography Contract signed by her father. (See contract below) The contract clearly states: SALES TAX AND/OR SHIPPING WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL. So much for the false claims of my dishonesty.

Debbie also complains that it took a year to get her wedding album. Indeed it did. Debbie did not place her initial order until 5 months after the wedding! After finally placing the order, she made constant changes to the album. Instead of acknowledging that she simply changed her mind about the pictures she wanted included, she accused me of including the wrong photos in the album. When I showed her the order in her own handwriting, she continued to blame me for the wrong photos. She repeated this process on three more occasions, thus delaying the finished album for the year. And each time she blamed me, I showed her that the selected photos were the very ones she herself ordered, in writing, in her own handwriting! Nonetheless, each time she made a change, I prepared new final prints, and absorbed my added cost of the wasted prints.

As for the photographers at her wedding, they were both highly experienced master photographers. I have never disparaged my own photographers or any individuals that work for me,to Debbie or any other client. Nor would I; they are superb in their craft. I did not personally appear at the wedding as a family emergency prevented my being present. We often have simultaneous bookings in different locales, and it is often not possible for me to personally shoot each affair. That is precisely why we employe master photographers. As a matter of good business relations, I try to personally appear, if I can, at as many affairs as possible. Due to the sudden illness of a close family member, I had to rush to the hospital. I called and told Debbie of the emergency and assured her that My Partner who had the day off and was going to attend a family event will indeed be there to cover the wedding. He is also a world Renowned master photographer, and would professionally and competently handle her affair, exactly as promised. I told her how she or her planner could reach me at the hospital if it became at all necessary. No one called me, because there were no problems. Her final album will attest to that.

SEE CONTRACT:
I do have a copy of Your contract with signatures and in 2 differnt places stating Sales Tax and or Shipping. It is standard in photographers contracts.
I have not figured out how to Post it along with these comments
