This company sent a post card using "Expedia's company name" stating that I'd won 2 r/t airline tickets on Southwest to any major city and a 3 day/2 night stay at a Marriott with a $50 Expedia gift card, but you had to call within 48 hours to claim the offer.

When you call the number, it's not an Expedia rep. and they run through the offer and state you must have a valid credit card to be able to take advantage of the offer, not a debit card.  They state that the rep will want to see the credit card upon verifying all eligible requirements.

I have no issues with obtaining a credit card, but my thing is this not how Expedia does business.  They don't send post cards, they will contact you via email.  Expedia is not even family with Make us urs Travel and have stated this is a scam.

Be leery of any company that can't use their own name as an introductory way to gain new customers.  They're using Expedia's name as they're a large well known company.  Make us urs travel wants people to take a 90 minute tour and meeting with their representatives.  I would be leery of any company that couldn't be upfront and us their own name.  I've sent the post card to Expedia.

The funny thing is Make us urs travel has in small print that:
"Certain restrictions apply, call for details. Taxes & registration fees and/or processing fees are the responsibility of the recipient. This promotion is not sponsored by Southwest Airlines, Marriot, or EXPEDIA (but they're using that company's name on the post card). Not applicable to Alaska or Hawaii."
