MAKRO cash and carry A TV SET WAS RETURNED UNDER THEIR POLICY; BUT MR.GLEN JONES refused to refund me, he replied to m,e that the bos has been opened . ! Internet
ON the 13/08/10 I purchased a tv set for the ammount of 411.26 pound .
On their policy is stated that :NON FOOD GOODS IN REASALABLE CONDITION MAKRO WILL BE PLEASED TO GIVE YOU A REFUND FOR ANY NON FOOD PRODUCTS RETURNED IN FULLY REASALABLE CONDITION THIS INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING, SEALS AND SHRINK WRAP INTACT, TOGHETHER WITH ANY ACCESSORY SOLD WITH IT WITHIN 28 DAYS OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE TOGHETHER WITH YOUR MAKRO RECEIPT FOR THE PRODUCT.
I was hoping that their policy well stated would help me in case i was not soddisfied with the product.
As in fact I returned the tv set on the 26/8/10 , with the help of my son, we packed the tv in the original box, with all the instruction, remote , and went to the Makro stotre at Poole dorset.
However the manager Mr. Glen Jones as soon it sow the box, the stated that he was not interested to refund me, the box has been opened this was his reply. However he also did not want to pay attention in what was inside the box, and only after I persisted in ask him to look inside for the remote , he then did so. So me and my son left the tv set and returned home without the deposit .
I wrote to the head office , but unfortunatly there is no sodisfactory reply, and I have no other choice then to take this matter to the local county Court.
Is very clear that Makro do misslead the Public, is well clear that their policy is a bunch of LIE ! Is well clear that they are not interested to negotiate with the consumer.
Mr. Glen Jones, he just disregarded so much the returned tv box, he did not care less what was inside. ! THIS FOR SURE IS DOWN TO A VERY BAD MANAGEMENT ! CARELESS FOR THE CONSUMER ! whay should they ? they have may money ! and my tv set !
