Complaint Review: Malibu Trust

Sadly, I did not see this site until 2 days after I sent a moneygram to a Matthew Randles. The person I was in contact with was Nancy McKenzie. That was December 12/29 and I was assured the money would be in my account that Friday-and if not, they would contact me. Nothing. I left Nancy a few messages, of course with no return call. My last message was telling her I hope she sleeps well at night knowing what she's doing to people. The money I sent was my rent and part of my child's day care money.

I contacted the Money Gram company, and did find out the money was picked up in Sunrise, Ontario-even though it was addressed to this Matthew Randles in Hartford, CT. I filed a fraud report with Money Gram, and am waiting to see if I hear anything. I also contacted the Attorney General and my local police department. Nobody was very interested in helping. I attempted to call Nancy yesterday-and the phones have been disconnected. Go figure. One piece of maybe good news-I was checking the internet today, and there is an article out from the Governor of CA demanding this company stop doing business. It also said anybody who has done business with them to call their Financial something department-the number is 415-263-8528. I'll be calling later today and give an update if any good comes out of it.
