Maloney Strohmeyer This Law firm altered (scratched out and rewrote in ink) the amount I was suppose to receive after I signed the papers. Then got upset and told me to leave his office after I caught the underhanded way he was trying to rip me off. Do Not Use This Firm for any reason, they are complete rip offs Mobile Alabama
I retained this law firm after an autobile accident, they were on tv everyday saying that they were for the little man and not the insurance companies. When my husband and I signed the Discloure of Disbursements and Acknowledgments (What money went to who hospitals, doctors and fees).
We went back to their office ten working days later to pick up my check and it was not the right amount. I asked to see the original paper we signed ten days earlier and the original figures had been crossed out and rewritten in ink, after it had been notorized in front of us both.
Besides the inferior service we had already received this was the last straw!! He got mad when I told him that I did sign that document but it had been altered (plain to see)and I had the original at home. He threw my file on the floor and got right in my face, after he saw I was right he told me to leave.
These people are working with the insurance companies to keep settlements low and they get a kick back, plus they are settling the hospital bills for fifty cents on the dollar and charging you the full price. I checked it out (not dumb)and they are settling the bills fifty cents on the dollar and pocketing the rest. Plus it shows up on your credit report a few months later as a chargeoff. You know what a chargeoff is, it's a mark on your credit, but it's too late when you sign the papers.
DO NOT USE THEM!! THEY ARE RIP OFFS!!!

This complaint misrepresents our dealings with this client and alleges horrible things that are not in our charatcter.
In fact, after filing the complaint the client found we had done the right thing(s) all along and had a change of heart. She claims she tried to retract her entire complaint but was not able to do so. She thus updated her complaint instead, stating we settled her case as per her authority and that we did obtain a reduction of her medical bills on her behalf as requested.
People who know me know that I am nothing like how this complaint portrays me. Nevertheless, I learned long ago that if someone says something unkind about you (especially when it is untrue), you must work and live in a way so that no one will believe it. I try to live accordingly.

This Firm settled for the amount that I authorized and they also obtained a medical bill reduction that I recieved at no aditional charge to me.
