Ethan Adams from Manchester Legal group called me in April if this year, with promised to help me get a man modification. Up to date, i have listened to their lies, paid them $3000. They made my situation mite difficult by lying to my mortgage that i own a business. Nite my mortgage is asking for info they can't provide. They have put me in foreclosure. I listened to them, stopped paying my mortgage and paid them instead for empty promises. People beware, don't get ripped off like me. I am so worry right now about losing my home. They don't have attorneys, they lied. I never get to speak to one.

Unfortunately we can't make everyone happy? This client had submitted over five applications to the lender for a modification and was denied! Please see the letter sent to the client below and how we resolved this situation. "Thank you for contacting me with your concerns. We want to make sure your file is concluded appropriately. To begin, please listen to the quality control call attached to this email recorded on July 13, 2017 and read the retainer agreement signed by you on June 21, 2017. On June 21st you became a client and had received legal products and a lender conference call prior to making any payments to the firm. I think you will agree based on this call and signed retainer you had a clear understanding of the legal products you were purchasing and understood there were no promises of a specific interest rate or specific payment amount from our free financial package submission program. Furthermore, your understanding on the recorded call verifies there were no guarantees and once the legal products are provided all monies paid to the law firm are considered earned. Lastly, you also acknowledged on the recorded call that we offer zero refunds. Our firm has careful reviewed this call and your file. Attached to this email are the legal products that were provided prior to making a payment to the firm. Also, a free loan modification was completed by our firm on your behalf. Our firm's negotiated loan restructure did lower your monthly payment and put you in a better financial situation. The modification was approved with the following terms: 9/21/2017-THE CLIENT WAS APPROVED FOR A TRIAL MODIFICATION STARTING IN 11/01/17-01/01/18 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,070.33. THE OLD PAYMENT WAS $3,267.56. THE CLIENT WILL BE SAVING $197.23 PER MONTH, $2,366.76 PER YEAR AND $71,000 OVER THE LIFE OF THE LOAN. CLIENT WAS DELINQUENT FOR OVER $20,317.00 IN 6 PAST DUE PAYMENTS INCLUDING THE PAYMENT FOR SEPT. This modification offer was provided after our law firm sent you the attached legal products which include the Firm Demand Letter, Qualified Written Request, and Pro Per Demand Letter. By signing the retainer you agreed to pay the firm a total of 4 payments of $1000.00. You paid 2 of the 4 payments totaling $2000.00. Based on the information above, Manchester Legal Group has fully completed our obligation outlined in the signed retainer agreement and you are still indebted to the firm $2000.00. At Manchester Legal Group our clients satisfaction is extremely important and we pride ourselves on customer happiness. Management has agreed to release you from the $2000.00 balance still owed to the firm. We will also send you a partial refund of $1000.00 based on your dissatisfaction which we feel should be more than enough. We've helped thousands of homeowners and never experienced a case when a homeowner benefited tremendously from our service, accepted new terms offered and then wanted a refund. The firm will be sending out a check to 85 GAMMONS RD. ACUSHNET, MA 02743. Please advise if you would like your check sent to a different address. I will follow up with a tracking number once it is sent.

It’s unfortunate that there are other firms and or companies that take advantage of homeowners and we are sometimes stereotyped in that group. Also with the internet these days fake complaints and reviews are allowed to be posted on this and other sites without being validated. It makes it hard for home owners to have peace of mind and trust even the good guys out there like Manchester Legal Group.

Don’t let them scam you like they did me. I called the better business Bureau and their helping now report this fake business. They will tell you all you want to hear about how they can help you and once you commit they’ll have you do a recording which are only allowed to say yes or no and no other comments can be made. What they did was a loan modification and I did all the work for them supply them with all the documentation that they needed and submitted it to my mortgage company which I could’ve done. I got promised that my loan Would be reduced by half and that was a lie. Please do not let them trap you you can do this on your own there are no attorneys at Manchester legal group. - Lucia
